Koesherbacon
When I click on a magnet link, uTorrent launches just like it is supposed to and when it launches, it prompts me to save the file or files. Is there a way to turn off this prompt and just start the download by saving the file or folder to a default location, "~/Downloads/"? I always save the torrents there anyway and move them to another directory as necessary. If not, it's no big deal, but if there is a way I'd really prefer that option. Thanks a ton! Koesherbacon
Huh? Can you explain further? I don't understand what you mean. Thanks
ciaobaby
Your BROWSER is the problem NOT uTorrent, these forums only deal with uTorrent problems.
ciaobaby
Oh AND of course, ...You cannot 'save' a magnet link because the is no physical file to save anywhere.
Syxti9
Sorry to bring up old posts but I would also like an answer to this... The issue isn't with my browser launching uTorrent (it does that fine), the issue is with how uTorrent handles the magnet link that is sent to it i.e. it prompts to confirm the save location. I would like to know if it is possible to have uTorrent bypass this prompt and just automatically start downloading to the default location. I know this option is available on the Windows release but I can't seem to find it on the Mac version.
