I'd like to see beta users have access to whatever current alpha or beta they want, since most beta users will be automatically updated to give us our numbers, and the relatively small number of beta users willing to test a specific alpha/beta won't affect those numbers.

This change happened as part of a recent effort to further automate generation of release notes.  I created a story to track this issue and added it to the top of our backlog.

-- 2015-11-06: Version 3.4.6 Alpha (build 41324)

- All changes from 41322 and 41314

@mcdonald: the link brings the 41322 and no automatic or manual update to the build 41324 ...

To the build 41322: This build accepts randomly IPV6-connections - even they are disabled in the settings.

Since longer times (1 year or so) uTorrent starts with some IPV6-peers to, but disabled them after some time.

3.4.6.41238 (not) available:

- All changes from 41322 and 41314

Why post alpha's on a beta page? Why not make them downloadable?

What's the point...?

Why call them alphas with the same version number when you also have betas? then go and merge them with betas? What's the point?

C'mon.

The point is -  increasing the # of posts in this forum, and us having some fun on account of the devs... :P

Looks like this build comes from a branch that has various other branches merged into it. Or maybe it's just the procedures for release log creation that have changed.

Yo uTorrent team, wanna release 3.4.6 beta as final now or add whatever small fixes you've found since to it and release it?

Then freeze that code branch and rename your 3.4.6 Alpha to 3.5 Alpha and code any sizeable changes there and just leave the 3.4.x branch now for minor changes?

You guys have been adding and adding to a minor release for almost the past two months now..

*edit* and they release a 3.4.5 build in part based upon 3.4.6.. seriously wtf.
