Anyway, can someone please point me towards how or where I can download the 30888 build?

 

1. Exit uTorrent.

2. Go to "%AppData%\uTorrent" folder (this is the default installation path).

3. Rename "uTorrent.exe" file to, for example, "uTorrent_31139.exe".

4. Go to "updates" subfolder.

5. Copy "3.4.1_30888.exe" back to "uTorrent" folder.

6. Rename it to "uTorrent.exe".

7. Run it.

8. In the dialog box where it says that a newer version is installed, click "Yes".

"Previous builds are preserved in uT's AppData" would have been enough. But that doesn't hurt either. Points for sheeple-proofing it though.

I've noticed that along with the "pause" button being missing from the toolbar that if I need to stop queued torrents it requires right clicking and repeated selecting pause and stop

I updated to 3.4.1 and now every time I open utorrent a window pops up (with utorrent running behind it) saying "uTorrent has crashed. A crash dump has been saved as: ...file location... How would you like to proceed?" and two options "Relaunch..." , "Don't relaunch...". I tried reinstalling and installed the beta version as well but the error stays. (When I leave the window open utorrent works but with bugs like the right click menu does not open and so on.) Can this be fixed or can I download an earlier version of utorrend somewhere? Please help.

Earlier versions usually reside in your appdata>updates folder.

 

As for your crashing, the build number of uTorrent causing the crash and the operating system in use may prove helpful

Dev's would find the crash dump helpful.

Here is the dmp file of the error "uTorrent has crashed. A crash dump has been saved as...".

I'm using windows 8.1 and the utorrent version that crashed was 3.4.1.31224.

Who needs "installation" what you can just put the exe with your (or my...) settings.dat and be done ?...

Hmm I still wondering why the Check for Updates never giving info regarding the latest stable build.

'm still on 31139 and today 31227 just released, I pressed check for updates it says "No new version available".

Works for Updating to latest beta

Hi, uTorrent team!

Seems that there is a couple bugs in last builds. 

 

1. uTorrent periodically change its DHT node_id. I investigate it using Wireshark. And after changing node_id, uT starts lossing most of active nodes ("DHT: xxx nodes" indicator shows decreasing count of nodes with time).

2. Loggin "Dump DHT Buckets" and "Dump DHT Tracked" doesnt work.

 

So here is a question, does this behavior is a bug or a new featurers called in changelog as a mysterious "dht-store feature" (-- 2014-05-07: Version 3.4.1 (build 31139) Stable)?
