shelleyb
I'm not quite sure what's happening but any help would be appreciated. I'm not a heavy user of UTorrent so even though it's one of my start up programs, what I normally do is just minimize it to the taskbar and go on about my business. This evening I tried using it and when I clicked on it to bring it up...nothing happened. It was working in the background but I could not bring the program up from the taskbar. I tried Alt+tab, i tried using the task manager to switch to and bring forward, I tried killing the process and starting it from the start menu, I tried running it as an administrator...nothing can get it off the taskbar. I've never had this problem before. I'm using UTorrent 3.4.2 and on Windows 7 and it's 32 bit if that helps at all.
Cephus
Just had the same problem on my wife's computer, it's stuck in the taskbar, it will not maximize no matter what. If you stop the program and restart, it starts stuck in the taskbar. There have been no updates, it's worked normally since 3.4.2 came out, now... it's stuck. rafi
Disable the second (extended) monitor if you have one.
ArtHistorian2002
Hi Rafi, thank you for responding. I am not sure what you mean by second/extended monitor, so this may sound stupid....I am far from up on all the tech terms, but please, bear with this old lady lol......I don't have a second monitor, I have UT installed on my laptop and it is the only monitor I have. If I am not understanding what you mean, could you please explain it in layman's terms? My daughter use to be the one I turned to with all my computer questions, but now she is 2,000 miles away and has no clue what I am talking about when I try to explain it to her. Thankfully, folks in these forums have the moxie to turn my poor explanation into understandable problems. Thank you again, for responding!!
