dunar393 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Share Posted August 2, 2014 Starting just in the last couple of days, uTorrent (3.4.1) has been taking an incredibly long time to check torrents. Previously, it would check progress on a 700mb file in 30-60 seconds. The last couple of days, every 0.1% has taken several seconds. Any ideas on what could be causing this? licurg Posted August 2, 2014 Report Share Posted August 2, 2014 I don't remember any drastic changes in file checking between uT versions. It has to be HD - low on free space, high percentage of fragmentation could affect the speed. Also, any other high disk activity such as AV monitor and the like.
