docfester
Today I noticed that my uTorrent just would not stay loaded on my pc, it is a version from about 2 weeks ago. I can't tell which one it is as it will not stay loaded. I uninstalled/reinstalled, no joy. Rebooted the computer after another uninstall then reinstalled. It started and I could see the icon in the lower right. When I went to click on it, it disappeared. I am NOT getting a crash notification. I downloaded an earlier version 3.4.1, with the same results. I downloaded and installed bittorrent with the same results. I have downloaded and installed Lavasoft adaware and found some things and had them removed. I also ran avg with some things and had the problems removed/quarenteed. I also ran CCCleaner to clean up my system.I then reinstalled uTorrent but I'm still having the same problems. Any suggestions? docfester
Okay. When checking my startup using CCCleaner I found a suspicious entry that doesn't like to be deleted and I cant find a reference via google: Yes HKLM:Run {a6396ba0-6dc8-c29f-4015-b700ef73b426} "C:\Users\mn\AppData\Local\Microsoft\{a6396ba0-6dc8-c29f-4015-b700ef73b426}\{a6396ba0-6dc8-c29f-4015-b700ef73b426}.exe" I tried to delete it and it returned. I tried to disable it and the same happened. I cannot find a program that references it either. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
