Xanatrix
I am currently using uTorrent 3.4.2 build 34944, and the problem I am having seems to be unique compared to others, at least in certain respects. When I try to open uTorrent, the window pops up for all of a second, and then immediately closes. The icon for uTorrent appears in the system tray, and even after the window closes, it is still in the tray until the mouse attempts to interact with it, in which case it disappears. Unless I open uTorrent with administrative access through my UAC, I cannot interact with uTorrent at all. This only started yesterday, and I do not know why this is occurring. I have checked for any sort of crashdump concerning this issue, and there are none, which one could infer to mean that the uTorrent process and program are closing legitimately instead of being forcefully ended. This also effects how magnet links and torrent files themselves work. If I do not add them through the interface of an administrator-activated uTorrent client, they do not work at all. For example, when clicking magnet links, my prompt for which program to use appears in Firefox, and I select uTorrent and click okay, but then nothing else happens, not even the busy loading circle. Xanatrix
If you're talking about firewalls, I don't use any because I don't have money, and the trial versions of Norton and the like notoriously suck. I use Malwarebytes, SpyBot, and good ol' Windows Firewall.

Xanatrix
I'm not sure I was specific enough. I don't have, and have never had, Norton, McAfee, Avast and the like. This computer was custom built and clean installed, so the only programs on here are the ones I've installed.
