thedukeofnorway
Today we have usually have internet speeds over 1000Kbps. I wish you utorrent people would up the download limit to at least 5000kbps. if it is possible take it all the way to 10000kpbs. I really like uTorrent but this is the only thing that bothers me with it.
DreadWingKnight
uTorrent doesn't have a hard limit for speeds.
j7nj7n
Since the question is in the User Interface section, I think it talks about the preset list of speed limit values. It dynamically changes depending on what the current limit is. I prefer a fixed list. This way I immediately know that a setting next to the top is "low" (for example, to quickly put downloads on hold). With the relative list, I have to click twice or three times to go from one end of the scale to the other. It is also not easy to switch back to an exact "rounded" limit. Related: When IrfanView switched its zoom scale to be relative, there was an outcry, and a "fixed values" option was added. I think it is easier to change the list by onesself (Preferences -> Advanced -> UI Extras), rather than writing posts that will not make a difference. My generic selection: 0,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,768,1024,1536,2048,3072,4096
