supercar
I'm new but couldn't download hijack or process... I've downloaded about 1,5 week pretty much over 100 files, fine - nothing to it.Then today suddenly it says something like "Torrent file allready loaded on list, do you want to load the trackers?" I've allready deleted .torrent files from the appdata/roaming/utorrent folder which apparently were stuck in there for 1,5 week. But in recent other posts i couldn't find a solution for this problem. I rather not reinstall the program or windows. Who can help me? By the way, to all you guys, your doing a fine thing!

zeroin
Is the window that normally pops up showing up on a secondary display?3.4.2 Me having this exactly bug.. Torrent adding property window shows up at the area that it was closed last time at, even if this area doesn't exist at the moment while second monitor is disconnected.. If I close uTorrent without dealing with that invisible window, then next time that torrent "..allready exists..." That is TWO BUGS here, that slip to new builds for quiet some time. And every next I hope them to bee fixed.. Well, even hope die some time ) Cleaning temps and appdata\roaming\utorrent doesn't help. I would erase database witch contains info about those frucken missing torrents, but I'm not comfortable with loosing all other torrents I seed.. If leaving thoes bugs be is a part of a marketing strategy, say - "free version is not supported well dew to "pro" orientation" than I'm defensively not buying pro. Actually this is my only concern that is stopping me from participation, cos, besides this and ads, everything is just grate for me. Best wishes!-------------------------------Peter ZhakovSaint-Petersburg, Russia
DreadWingKnight
The underlying problem ends up being in how windows decides where a window renders rather than anything directly in uTorrent. I'll see about getting someone working on some workarounds, but there's only so much we'll be able to do.
zeroin
I'm no programmar, but I guess, the shortest way will be to reset appearance position for an every new uTorrent session, if its possible with shell-api off course.. looking forward
sansar
Hi everybody. I'm suffering this bug too. I'm guessing but you dont need the hiJackThis report for this one, right?Just want to add some more information about the bug. You can see the main problem in the attached screenshot. This message appears after clicking on a magnet link for second time in chrome (the first time nothing happened). Im using torrent in spanish, but it means the same, "torrent already loaded".I can't see the "new torrent window" because its "hidden" in a screen that isn't connected anymore, can't move it, alt+tab it or win+tab it, because it isn't at the task bar either. The error its caused because: 1) I have 3 screens (the notebook and 2 more) and i use just 2 at the same time. One is the tv in the living room, and the otherone is a monitor in my room. 2) One of them has the "dockstation" (place for my notebook) at right, and the otherone at left of the screen. 3) Last time i use torrent on one place leave the "magnet popup window" on the screen of the external monitor then i change place. Windows 7 recognize each screen differently so if i connect one or another the desktop its automaticaly extended left or right (maybe its because one is hdmi and the otherone vga). I really hope this bug could be fixed for next version, so if you need some more help just ask. Thank you,Santiago
DreadWingKnight
When the window normally comes up, it has focus unless you click somewhere else. You can use that to your advantage by pressing alt+space then m to allow you to use the arrow keys to move the window back on to one of your connected displays.
