uTorrent crashes with 100MB/s speed

Hello uTorrenters!

I've recently contracted a 1000 Mbps speed from my ISP and calculated my max download speed would be about 112,5 MBps when torrenting. But, unfortunately, it's far from it.

I've got an Intel i7 2700k, 32GB of RAM and Windows is installed on an 128GB SSD. Downloads are made to my Striped Dynamic partition and, rarely, to my external HDD. Just as an idea, when copying a file from my HDD to my HDD it writes with about 20MBps and from my Striped to my Striped it writes with ~80MBps while SSD's speed is about 135MBps.

When downloading, speed caps out at about 25-30 MBps. Figured it's my drive that's got issues writing that much data. But then I go into "Preferences" - "Advanced" - "Disk Cache" and enable "Override automatic cache size and specify the size manually" and set it to 1800MB (maximum allowed) and the download speed goes up to a whooping 75-90 MBps!

BUT!

The problem is, if I'm downloading anything larger than 2GB, uTorrent crashes. If there's a 15GB file I need downloading, uTorrent downloads about 2GB of data and then freezes. Task manager says uTorrent is not responding and the ethernet connection drops from 850Mbps to 10Kbps. RAM usage doesn't go above 8GB (Windows uses 6 at all times).

What is there to do? Am I stuck downloading large files at low speeds and small files at high speeds?

Thank you!
