hlvic Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 Hello,I am wanting to delete utorrent from my computer as I would rather not download any more torrents at the moment, but keep getting the message, "This action can't be completed because the file is open in uTorrent. Close the file and try again." I did the usual "unistall" procedure, and it removed it from the control panel, but the file is still on my computer in an .exe file in Downloads. When I right-clicked to delete it, I got the "file is open" message. I'm not sure where it's open so that I can go there and close it so that I can delete the .exe file.
