IPfilters no longer available for free?

I was doing regular maintanence, updating my "ipfilter.dat" file, and found that Bluetack (aka Blocklist Pro) now requires donations to download IP filters. They still permit downloads of blocklists, but uTorrent cannot read these lists as is, and I don't know how to convert a "list" into a "filter".

My question: are there any other up-to-date sources for filters? I have reverted to an older pipfilter, but I know it isn't even called a "paranoid ipfilter" anymore, so it must be old.
