Well, allaballa, I was thinking about you (and more people in the same situation, I guess), while you were posting, so now we have two threads on this issue.

Short answer: yes.

uTorrent can handle Magnet Links. If your PC doesn't do it, it might be that it's not well configured.

I found a solution by searching Windows Registry for "magnet", but you have to edit the registry.

So I opened a thread asking if there is A Better Way to do it, because this kind of solution is unsatisfactory to me. Perhaps in that thread someone can give you an easier way to configure uTorrent to handle Magnet Links.

In case you dare to change the registry (I won't explain how to do it in a more "user friendly" way, because if you have to learn how to edit the registry, then you shouldn't edit it), there you go:

Usually, when you associate uT with torrents, it'll do magnet links too.
