µTorrent Mac 1.6.5 latest stable with PPC support!

This is version 1.6.5 of the Mac client with Mountain Lion support and other improvements. This is also the last version that has Mac PPC Support. You can learn why it was necessary to make this decision here: End-of-life notification for Power PCs

Download link gives version 1.6.1 (26928). Also, when completing download it desappears from the list, but the .torrent and downloaded content remains in the folders assigned. Tried deleting preferences and all files related to utorrent and this keeps hapening.

Despite this, i love utorrent. Doesn't kill my browser navegation as Transmission does.

Why in this version, as in the stable, does not remember some settings, namely, if remove the column of Path in the window (add the torrent), the next time you add the column reappears.

Will there be a normal color icons in the Preferences, and in the main window? What is now ... Windows version even more colorful and interesting.

Will the Russian language in the program? when?

Can you make the opening of properties of torrent by double-clicking the mouse?

Is there a place where I can still download the 2.0.2 beta? Version 1.6 is still banned on most private trackers.

Version 1.6.2 (27017) still removes finished downloads/seeds from the list.

Well, I feel stupid now. As I don't use the sidebar (have a small screen so I always close it to save space) I did not see this.
After opening sidebar, only the downloading was selected. Now I select All and close sidebar and this setting sticks. Thank you!

One suggestion, can you add buttons for Move Down/Up Queue in the toolbar? So we don't need to right click every torrent and select it. Would be much faster/easier.

Hi,

I've found v1.6.2 to be stable (doesn't crash) and quite quick in terms of downloads, but have found an interesting "bug" or is it a "feature" in v1.6.2 that was not in v2.0.2b

i have updated from 1.5.x to 1.6.2 and buttons ( start / stop / remove) stopped being active and grayed out.

update: it got fixed after restart, which i usually don't. But before that a few quit/open cycle didn't fix it.

Vika B, I got this issue a couple of times, i'm on a intel i7 MBP. Quitting and opening uTorrent again solves it.

Suggestion, up/down queue buttons in toolbar and pause button.

µTorrent stable (1.6.4 build 27255) : good

but :
- bug opening fire-wall
> utorrent remote failure (probably)
open / close utorrent.
A message Opening of firewall is displayed, even if it's already open

- Another English language (French, ....)
> When ????

The latest update (1.6.5) doesn't work to me. I've the new mountain lion and after this uTorrent update, all the software that require the usage of the audio card doesn't work. Even iTunes.
Please fix it soon.

The latest update (1.6.5) doesn't work to me. I've the new mountain lion and after this uTorrent update, all the software that require the usage of the audio card doesn't work. Even iTunes.

uTorrent does not affect the audio card. Looks like the problem is in OS update.

Latest version of uTorrent does not work for me either.... I am running Mac OSX 10.6.8 and my downloads are now non-existent (in other words, can't download anything). I have checked my network settings, even changed ports, restarted, re-installed... all with the same results - no downloads, nadda, zip... HELP/ASSISTANCE would be greatly appreciated...:) Maybe I should revert back to the previous version? Can you give me a link to that version? or is this issue going to be fixed soon? Great program, really... and I've come to rely on it quite a bit... so...

Hi,
Could you please reproduce this issue and send us uTorrent log file?
You need to run uTorrent, go to Window->Message Log, go to Settings and enable "Set all logging flags" then click on "Set log file" and save uTorrent log to file. Try to reproduce this issue and then send us (mac@bittorrent.com) created log.
