"Unable to load "###": torrent is not valid bencoding!"

When I try to manually download any torrent from one of my feeds in uTorrent, this is the message I get:

"Unable to load "[torrent name]": torrent is not valid bencoding!"

Yes, "bencoding". I believe this is happening since installing the most recent version (3.1.3). Now it seems only a few torrents from the feeds are downloading automatically, and there are already several torrents in feeds that have the star next to it but did not start automatically, and of course downloading them manually doesn't work. All help is deeply appreciated.

Does the feed actually link the torrent directly?

I don't know how to check if it links the torrent directly or not. But even if it doesn't, please understand that it has been working well until now.

The problem is with the feed. They don't link to the .torrent file, but to an HTML page.

But why was it working okay before? Why is linking to an html page instead of the torrent a problem now, if torrent files from those feeds were downloading okay until this week?

Maybe the feed changed this week in such a timeframe as to coincide with your update.

uTorrent has ALWAYS required a direct link to the torrent in the feed.

I am receiving the same error on all my rss feeds through kat.ph. It was functioning perfectly until utorrent updated a week or so ago.
