X_Clamp
Hello,I've attached a screen cap of the problem. It seems that uTorrent dedicates all of my upload bandwidth to one peer, and so of course I only download from that one peer. Often this peer uploads slower than I do. How can I make uTorrent split up the upload bandwidth such that I can download from multiple peers and at least get a one-to-one upload to download speed ratio? ciaobaby
100 peers per torrent? with a limit of 450 globally? do you run with more than 5 active jobs?Let's go for something a little more conservative and sensible.say 300 global, 15 - 20 per torrent with 6 - 8 upload slots as a starting point.Having "[ ] Use additional slots ..." checked with your current settings WILL allow a peer to run "away" with available slots if you do have slow uploads. X_Clamp
That advice didn't help. I only have this problem when I'm downloading a large torrent with a low seeds to leaches ratio. The torrent I'm downloading now has a ratio worse than 1/10 leaches/seeds. uTorrent's heath bar indicator shows no bars for this torrent.
