installer didn`t ask, where it should be installed (but it was installed- installer windows were appearing), and launched from (...AppData\Roaming...). (win7 x64, was v3.3b28910)

and it created shortcut on desktop. did i ask for that?! where`s check box for that?!

you have to download this beta from website.utorrent 3.3 stable autoupdate to beta does not work.even you tick the check box.

Check the free torrent on TPB "TPB AFK".

It's the first time I started getting disk overload errors. 3.3 stable and 3.3.1 beta, likewise. I've never seen again the infamous error that everyone is talking about. It happens at the beginning 3-4 times consistently. Meanwhile, my connection isn't something fast. I can only download with 2MB/s on a Sata 3 WD Black HDD. The seeders are too many and as a result, at the beginning I get fullspeed extremely fast... Don't know if this has something to do with the problem... Maybe it needs a little more tweaking?

Also, yea... 3.3.1 didn't ask where to install... I now have 2 versions. One on my SSD ( 3.3.1 ) and one on my HDD ( 3.3 ) with all the shortcuts and who knows what else.

By the way, I've enabled, "notify me before installing updates" and I'm waiting to get one to see whether it works or not. I'll report back.

I hope disk caching and flushing is fixed in this 3.3 beta, maybe someone tried it already? I'm willing to stick with 3.2 until the whole new disk i/o is bug free.

Not quite fixed yet... but it's better, and getting there...

- Some complete pieces are still accumulating in cache and not being flushed (more after pausing/stopping ...)

- After start+stop - average file-write size - is less then the piece size.

Forgot to say, I just discovered why the rendering of magnet links is extremely slow if I have at least one more active torrent... It's because I've set upload/download limits. If I turn both to "0" ( unlimited ) no matter how many torrents are active, the rendering is extremely fast...

Unless there's a glitch in 3.3 which has been fixed in 3.3.1 beta, but none mentioned anything about. Or... these "flushing" fixes helped somehow...

Can this build be runned as a portable app... executed on a higher drive letter, eg a large flash drive and NOT write ANY crap & junk onto the C: drive...???

Put the exe + settings.dat (there is one below...) file on it and let us know what happens... I vote: yes...

Dirty shutdown problem with 3.3.1.29105.

Used file -> Exit to close down for a reboot after Windows 7 updates.

Invalid download state on restart which re-checked [several times] to a CRC error and 56G of a 83G download had to be dumped and the job reloaded.

I don't get it - you've read about it, why not take precautions?... :P

Well! That WAS the plan with shutting the client down "cleanly" with "File -> Exit" then waiting until the processes complete and close.

The client was shut down BEFORE I started the update process and fourteen updates takes quite a while to complete before the machine was rebooted.

Any problems that I have encountered previously with such occurrences have been due to a 'dirty' shutdown ie: the client being 'forced' to yield to a Windows halt instruction or a 'hard' reset being required, so fifteen minutes plus should have been sufficient for cache flushing and/or unloading.
