Pirate Bay

There doesn't seem to be any way to upload a torrent to Pirate Bay.  Does anyone know how to do it?

Re: Pirate Bay

Posting about any illegal sharing of copyrighted content is strictly FORBIDDEN.

Pirate Bay is notorious for providing illegal material and I think that its inappropiate to discuss it here on the utorrent forum even if you are not talking about the illegal material itself.

Re: Pirate Bay

Being notorious however doesn't mean being illegal. For all you know he could upload a wallpaper pack he designed himself.

Re: Pirate Bay

if that were the case then the utorrent guides linking to mininova would be very very wrong tongue

in fact take a look at the begginers guide: http://www.utorrent.com/beginners-guide.php

it links to mininova and The Pirate Bay itself, i think it is safe to link to those sites, after all as Tich said it's just a tracker/site, the users are the ones that post whatever is they need tracking for tongue

Re: Pirate Bay

And the word "Pirate" in the tracker name is just a happy coincidence smile

Re: Pirate Bay

We're going a bit of topic, but I agree that trackers are harmless for UPLOADING. Say you want to share family photos or what not and do that with bit torrent. Best way is to use a tracker instead of your on computer, if sending to multiple people like your whole family. To register it ON the tracker might be stupid though, but we shouldn't be so quick to judge. This guy maybe is planning on sharing his amateur music or movie project???
