Newbie here. What exactaly is uTorrent uploading from my computer?

Newbie here.  What exactaly is uTorrent uploading from my computer?

Hi,  This is the first time that I have ever used a torrent program.  So far I have uploaded about 130mb of stuff from my computer.  What have I uploaded?  How do I find out what is being uploaded, is there a folder that I can select to use for uploads?

You upload pieces of whatever torrents you're trying to download. Also any old torrents you left running after you finished downloading continue uploading till stopped.

Heh similar, but not really the same discussion -- that thread was a discussion about security in general, not what is being uploaded
