Tsteele
Recently my download speed has decreased from 300KBs to a range of 10-70kBs. I have a yellow icon on the bottom. I went to the speed guide and clicked on the speed and port test button and nothing happens except for the depress action. I haven't made any changes except for the upgraded version of utorrent. My router is forwarded correctly along with its linksy software. I used portforward.com, windows firewall is setup as well. I completely removed the Utorrent program without luck of fixing the problem. I never had a problem ever since i've been using utorrent over the past two years and never had to set anything up really to make it run properly. I'm completely stumped.... DreadWingKnight
Check and configure your "Set Program Access and Defaults" in the control panel.
Tsteele
I checked the "Set Program Access and Defaults" and Utorrent is not a program listed nor can I add programs to it. Everything else is checked though.
DreadWingKnight
The problem isn't uTorrent in there. It's your web browser settings.
Tsteele
I use Firefox and IE7 which both are enabled in the "Set Program Access and Defaults". I looked in the options in Firefox, which is the web browser I use most, I'm not sure what I should be looking for.
Ultima
Try switching it to another browser and then back. Also make sure the checkbox to allow other applications to use the browser is checked.

Theard
Can you please explain to me how to : Set Program Access and Defaults" ? I seem to have more or less the same problem. Running IE 7 with McAfee virus protection. Windows XP. Would like to change the yellow tick at the bottom to a green tick. I have done port forwarding properly, but it still would not change.
