usrhlp
I think uTorrent should have an auto restart after an error causes the download to stop.I have had 3 CRC errors while downloading a big file and each time the torrent download has stopped and wasted a lot of time doing nothing when it should have restarted the download and continued as though nothing happened.Allowing the user to specify auto restart times for errored or failed downloads would be a big advantage and not very hard to do. Ultima
AFAIK, more elegant error handling should already be on the todo for a future version.

DreadWingKnight
CRC errors == check your disk for damage time.
Firon
Yeah, a CRC error is fatal. It's not something you should attempt to recover from.
Ultima
Er... yeah, just to clarify, I didn't mean to say that this particular error should be gracefully recovered from. I was just throwing out as a general fact that handling some errors (non-fatal ones, like file in use, or something) more gracefully is on the todo.
