aspadistra
In branches 1.8 and 2.0, Win X86 but not Mac:The program fails to delete "not in use" .torrent files in its own local "cache" that has this general path:C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent If you delete all the .torrent files in this directory, you have to load them in again. Another related design flaw.Suggestions to fix the problem:0. Don't store any .torrent files at all in this file area, out in the open.1. Put all active .torrent files in a file like "active-torrents.zip" and put all non active torrent files into "expired-torrents.zip" -- the zip file need not be compressed.2. Delete the "expired-torrents.zip" file once per week, or whenever its age is too old (from its file creation date).
DreadWingKnight
Did you specify the default delete action to include the .torrent? If not then this is not a bug.
Firon
It will delete them only if you tell it to, meaning use "remove and delete .torrent". Leave the folder alone. You aren't supposed to be messing with it. It's not a design flaw if you delete a program's data files.Closing since it's not a bug.
