Computer SLOW occasionally with uTorrent running, restart fixes

Let me start by saying I have been running uTorrent 24 hours a day for years, and this problem just recently started. Once in a while when uTorrent is running, my computer will slow to a crawl. I can barely use the mouse it is so choppy. Closing down uTorrent and restarting it always fixes the problem. Restarting the computer will also fix it. If I disable my connection, or unplug the router, the problem also stops even with uTorrent still running. I don't have an issue with uTorrent or internet speeds even when it is running at my set maximums, it just slows my computer down to an unusable speed at seemingly random intervals, maybe once a week that I have noticed. Any help would be appreciated.

System Specs

Intel I7 920, 6GB ram, 150GB Velociraptor system drive, 750GB Samsung storage drive, Win7 64

I'd suspect malware or software firewall is to blame.

I run numerous spyware/malware scanners every other day and everything is coming up clean. I use AVG as a software firewall. What exactly should I be looking for? Do you know why it would do it so randomly and be fixed by simply restarting uTorrent?

1st link in my signature, last post, last part...post full HijackThis and Process Explorer (with uTorrent's DLL list) logs.

uTorrent's DLL list is the "easiest" to do a quick check on -- any non-Microsoft DLLs are immediately suspect.

Ironically, it could even be AVG's firewall engine snarling up briefly on uTorrent's traffic that causes the problem.

Will that affect how my mouse functions?

You may lose scrolling functions, but generally the standard windows drivers will suffice.(or fully replace) (or if they have driver only versions for download, without the added software)

Their DLL code is injected into uTorrent for some reason. I suspect it's putting extra load on the CPU. What is your CPU usage at when this problem occurs?

Nero indexing...could be bad if/when it's active.

Hi. I have mtorrent 2.0.4. I got no problems before. But now when mtorrent starts it slow down my PC. my Harddisk is 100% in use and i cant do almost nothing. Everythinh is so slow i have to wait like 2 minutes to enter my computer...

I want 2.0.2 version back! How can i download and from where?

We don't support old versions, and that includes finding them.

There is a MAJOR security flaw in 2.0.2 that makes it EXTREMELY unsupported by us beyond the normal scope.

Post the hijackthis log and process explorer process list with the dll list for the utorrent.exe like everyone else.

Maybe this could help

I noticed sometimes that processor is too busy when uTorrent is working an I checked with program SystemExplorer to see what is killing my processor.

It was not uTorrent but Firewall, and firewall processes are sometimes working in high priority.

Firewall is cheching every connection and if there are too much of them, it kills processor.

I just lowered max connections in uTorrent Options -> Preferences -> Bandwidth -> Number of connections, and no more problem.
