Lock .torrent files that are in use.

I would like to request a feature be added.

The feature would be to lock .torrent files, that are in use, in your %appdata% uTorrent folder.

I run CCleaner with the added Winapp2.ini file. The added file cleans extra program files. I posted in the thread they have going, to suggest uTorrents unused/old .torrent files. The problem is, is that, there is no way for CCleaner to tell if a file is being used or not. uTorrent doesn't lock it's files that are in use.

Just as an example, I have a lengthy amount of unused .torrent files, but are only using a couple in uTorrent. I would like to clear those unused ones.

What do you think?

Sounds like a bad idea to me.

Firstly, if µTorrent isn't running, this would be a completely useless measure for preventing deletion. Secondly, it's a waste of resources to open and hold exclusively locked file handles on all .torrent files, especially when a large portion of them are never going to be used in each session, and especially if some users have thousands of torrent jobs loaded.
