I've found problem... Actually it's uploading but not displaying it
cFosSpeed says that speed ~ 100Kb/s but µTorrent thinks that it's about 2Kb/s

u just cant tell if it's uploading or not only by monitoring the speeds from utorrent
u either need an external program or a sensitive ear to monitor the slightest changes in HDD activity

The devs are working on it. The display bug only happens when the local peers are unlimited (apparently). When bt.limit_local_peers is set to true, the bug doesn't seem to manifest itself.

We already established that it's local peers causing the issue. It doesn't display their upload.

Yes, but when i switched back to 1.6.1 my upload speed increased in 4 times!
Is it my paranoia / just coincidence? ... or not?
PS. Russian time 06.00 quite far from "rush hour" that was displayed on previous screenshot, however it can be my provider's billing system speed bug.

im downloading a 50 gB torrent with 10mB/s. disk overload 100%
I CAN'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHINK AND EVEN MOVE MY MOUSE. what the hack is the solution to that
i have to say that bitcomet works just fine but it's a shitty program otherwise. i'm waiting for a solution, please.

Well it's a problem.. IMHO, you shouldn't need to mess with your cache settings just because you have a high-speed connection.
Needs to be fixed asap.

By your logic, the entire Preferences dialog and Speed Guide shouldn't be touched. After all, no one should need to configure *anything* just because they have whatever connection they have. The disk cache *needs* to be configured properly. µTorrent can't just *guess* what your connection speed is.
I fail to see how a configuration issue is µTorrent's responsibility, and why it needs to be fixed.

I noticed that on my vista 64 bit AMD machine .. if I "Open File Location" from utorrent it opens up a 32bit explorer window ...
Can it open up a 64 bit explorer window instead ?
When I am moving files around ..It is kind of a pain having a stack of 64bit explorer windows and another stack of 32 bit explorer windows. Especailly when the 32 bit windows are a little slower on a 64 bit machine / OS.
Just something for the wish list.

It was broken in 2224, but got fixed in 2248. Other than builds 2224 and 2228, it's been working properly for me (and I tested it *extensively*).

chache size is set to 200mB, and that's it. no advanced options are set because i guess they would f*** up even more with my hard disk speed. i have 1.5gB DDR2.
i just can not undersand. my ram filles up. i have to let the ram fill up to 1.4gB and then limit my download speed to 25kB so that it has time to get empty again. and that takes up to 10 minutes. i use a sata hard drive.
utorrent has a problem... that's for sure... i hope you'll fix it because it's a great program :}

Is this normal. It seems that the programs actually deletes the mapping of the port, and thereby is loosing all its active connections.
Then the programs initiates the portmapping again and then 20 minutes later it drops all its connections again.
And why does it say "UPnP: ERROR -5", when it works?
It is a D-Link 4300 router.

i think a good metod for utorrent to "not spy" would be to not show any ip adress anywhere in the program.
