Any clues if it's tied to a "strange" ip range?

I know it's just an IP from Poland: http://private.dnsstuff.com/tools/ipall … 5.22.97.78
And my large ipfilter.dat didn't block it.

I've often seen this myself and it makes me a little nervous. Would be nice if there was away to remove these suspect clients or peers.

The only way to block it is to add its IP in ipfilter.

I agree.
After adding to filter, does it filter them out right away?? or at some time later. The quicker the better IMO.

You just need to reload ipfilter.dat in Peers tab and the IP is immediately blocked as long as you don't remove it from ipfilter.

Various Transmission BitTorrent clients...especially around the v1.34 range are known to make >90 requests at once, even at low speeds. Quite possibly this was a developer's build v1.38a that uTorrent failed to parse into "Transmission" as the client name.
Not a poisoner or BitComit client...just a very buggy BitTorrent client!
Transmission v1.50 and v1.51 seem to be "better" but still make >40 requests at once even at low speeds. ![]()

ULS-3282 is an box that can support an HD max 1500Gb.
It is possible connect to PC via LAN Ethernet or USB.
It offers a built-in server FTP, SAMBA, BitTorrent Client, printer Server, etc.
Ir can open 8 sessions contemporanelly!
It is sold in Poland, but I found many BitTorrent clients in Italy.
My uTorrent client see it as "R3282-1.33 xyz" where xyz are strange characters, probably they are characters used in the Poland's language.

Interesting. It's like a router/NAS with an integrated bittorrent client.
Anyway they really should improve their bittorrent client. I saw Zyxel router with libtorrent inside and I didn't remark such a number of requests at low speeds.

You are right. The router needs a firmware update for improvement/correction. ![]()
