Alright so a couple days back i posted this: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php … 23#p433623
I did all the things posted and i'm still getting crap speeds
Here is what i usually get when running a speedtest
http://www.speedtest.net/result/611693984.png
Although the speed is low i'm not getting any where near that speed in uTorrent. I get on average 70kBs download and 30kBs upload
I'm constantly getting that little orange warning sign in the bottom bar about my network configuration
What should i do?
Thanks a lot
Sam
EDIT: Forgot to mention. I did the Glasnost throttling test None of the three ports are being throttled. And all three ports came up with almost the same speeds. Download at least 706Kbps and uploaded at least 305Kbps. So why is my uTorrent speed only 10% of that?

uTorrent download and upload speeds are in KiloBYTES/second.
Speed tests are in kilobits/second.
Roughly 1 magnitude in difference.
~10 kilobits/second download bandwidth and ~0.5 kilobits/second upload are needed to get 1 KiloBYTE/second download speed.

Mate i'm useless at maths ![]()
So what does that mean in terms of my uTorrent speed. Am i actually getting my speedtest speed in uTorrent then?
Thanks

Grab a calculator and try harder then. ![]()

I don't even have the first clue what to type into a calculator in order to get the answer. Can someone please post the formula so i can enter it
Thanks

8 bits = 1 BYTE, however it takes about 9-10 bits bandwidth to transfer 1 BYTE to someone else.
1 megabit/sec = 1024 kilobits/sec
So multiply megabits/sec by 100 to get KiloBYTES/sec download and upload speeds in uTorrent.
