Cable One got a nice e-mail from Paramount Pictures about me sharing Monsters Vs. Aliens and they shut off my internet. Is there anyway to keep them from doing this again or is my only option to not share and just download?

BitTorrent forces you to upload, so it's automatically unusable.
You would have to discontinue using BitTorrent clients at all (and probably most other forms of file-sharing) to be relatively safe. But with the numbers of false accusations in the past, even that's no guarantee!

What about things like Cyrptocloud? https://cryptocloud.com/ says it "protects all of your internet applications from surveillance: web, email, IM, VoIP, p2p - every packet."

So you pay somewhere and send them your private info so they can rat you out instead (or in addition to your ISP rating you out) in the event private information is requested by unregistered private investigators or fraudsters.

try to do your seed/leech remotely using a vps or any kind of cheap seeding service....! Then when the torrent finishes, just download it as any other file....your home line will not be sharing any data with other peers, so you are safe....also this will help you to build good ratio...
