Sorry, this is from 1.8.4 but that topic is locked now so I hope I'm not out of place to post here.

- Change: Incomplete downloads sort after completed downloads if sorting by "Completed On"

What was the reason for this change? I really preferred the way it sorted previously, is it possible this could be optional?

No because it's not logical.

Incomplete torrents will be completed after all the completed torrents, in the future.
So that's normal their "hypothetic" date of completion is sorted after the completion date of completed torrents.

It's a shame that it's not optional because it was really more useful the other way around

http://download.utorrent.com/1.8.5/utorrent.exe is still 17091!

In the System Requirements part of the download page,

    * Wine, Windows 95/98/ME, NT/2000, XP, 2003, or Vista
I guess its best time to add Windows 7 to the list :-)

also in the Available Languages part of the page,
its nice to have Azerbaijani too

The previous and current versions work on Windows 7, 64-bit.
HTTPS are also working.

Hey!  Thanks for the latest build, this appears to address the issue I had originally brought up where uTorrent got stuck updating.

I moved from XP to Windows 7 64bit and went back to uTorrent at the beginning of the month, I noticed this morning that they were all stuck updating and checked out my thread here on the issue and noticed this new build.  I installed it and immediately everything started working again.

Kinda embarrassed to mention it (Yah, I'll upgrade soon...really!) but...

1.8.4 installs under W98SE but 1.8.5 expects a newer version, contrary to the system requirements posted. Is this by design or an oversight?

Version 1.8.5 build 17091 works under Windows98se.
Version 1.8.5 build 17414 does NOT.
Error msg: Requires new OS or something like that

9x support has been discontinued as of the latest builds.

Thanks, Ibdude. Can build 17091 still be downloaded?

Even though I have had several XP Pro licenses and much faster hw sitting around here for years, just haven't wanted to deal with the unpleasant task of moving all the apps and docs from "old faithful". But yeah, it's time - for reasons other than just uTorrent.

Yeah, you don't need to install the toolbar to install uTorrent.

I can't seem to get past the install ask.com screen.  I don't want to install ask.com, so I uncheck all the boxes and then click install and nothing happens.  Do I have to install ask.com?

No. Unchecking the 3 boxes doesn't install the toolbar. What's your OS?

Did you already have uTorrent installed? If so, did you overwrite the exe in program files, and are you on Vista/7?

Are you using the latest 1.8.5 (build 17414)?
For the other options in the installer, did you leave everything default?
