µTorrent Mac 1.0.2 stable (23439)

Here's the first stable version of µTorrent Mac! It's currently not as feature rich as the Windows client, but we're working hard to improve the client and reach feature parity.

There's still a bug with saving on external drives (it fails on occasion), so we'll fix that for the next iteration.

Great, but there's still the issue with the download speed menu not opening on the first click, which was introduced in 19343.

my upload speed is set to be limited to 960kbps but is limited to 240kbps (the total speed of all uploads is always 240 almost exactly no matter if theres 4 torrents being seeded or 1) any idea what I should do?
I have port forwarded, this problem doesn't go away when I connect using ethernet instead of wireless, and I have Comcast but the throttling test says they are not restricting my bandwidth. Also my speed-test results are 20mbps/9mbps and downloads with optimum seeders peak at 2mbps (usually go at 1-2 once hit 3).

Comcast is lying to you with a feature called Speedboost. That gives you a temporary boost in upload and download that lasts only 30 seconds. In reality, you have 2mbit/s sustained upload.

so many things work so well, but any idea when we'll be able to individual set download locations for torrents, as well as set by label, and change location after downloading?

What ISP would you recommend for high-speed internet thats bit-torrent friendly without throttling, lying, ect? Verizon's FIOS?

The deleted files does not appear in trash before you open the directory which the deleted files was deleted from. And utorrent will not delete the whole map but just the files in the map and you have to delete it manually and that is very annoying.
I see now that it is not ready to be released as stable, as his client have some minor bugs and miss some vital futures (for example prompt user to choose download directory and select the file that one want to download).

hello,

late in the night, I did command + n...  and a dialog appeared to make torrents .... very nice !!! but when this feature was introduced ???

BTW,where I can find a tuto to make them, please ???

It looks great, but why does my download speed still go up and then slowly creep back down and hover around 10kb/sec?

any chance the search bar can be used to search the torrents in the client (instead of searching for torrents to download online)?

when you have a ton of torrents, a search feature is really handy!

****I agree with ohaiwill. That search feature has always bothered me. Most people don't use the search feature to search for torrents. They have private and public trackers that they use. They do however want to find the torrents that they download. I have 1200 downloads and a useless search feature. Please change this for the final version in addition to including the dates and times that specific torrents were downloaded!!!****

hi, there is a tutorial to create torrents with µtorrent .. because I follow a tutorial and tmaybe there are some differences between mac and windows way  !!!

Is there a way to be prompted for download another destination folder in the OS X client?  If there is not a way to do this in the current version, that is something I definitely would like to see in the next version of the beta!
