Speed help?!

I've tried all the guides, conservative settings etc

My line prior to me upgrading my broadband was only 1Mbps and I'm now on around 33Mbps

My downloads are identical to those from my previous broadband speed

Max i hit download is  110kB/s, surely this can't be right?

I will admit I am useless terminology and such so if anyone can help a 'noob' it would be greatly appreciated

It does unfortunately yeah kinda standard 110-120kB/s

My settings matched those of the table for 1.5 Mbit/s but just nothing!

should i stick on the settings i was on and hope for improvement?

it is a recent upgrade to their fibre so it could still be stabilising? was just a shock my line speed has increased and nothing

Plusnet is known (or at leas has been known) to throttle torrenting in general.
Do you have encryption enabled in the preferences?

we have improvement of 1.1MB/s downloads now
