My email is banned?

I just signed up for the forums today, for the first time, I believe, and when I entered my hotmail email address, it said that my email address is banned? I have never wrote any unfriendly comments or posted anything nasty or un- family friendly or anything at all for that matter. i did recently sign up for utorrent Pro with that email address, and paid my fee. So, why would my email address be banned? Is it maybe the Hotmail addresses aren't allowed or secure? I don't know. Can someone help me out with some possibilities? Thanks Jaywizzz

Hotmail is banned as a whole because hotmail fails to accept registration confirmation e-mails.

Do we know why this happens? Banning the whole domain seems like a work around and not really a fix to the problem.

You'd have to ask Hotmail.
