Copying the english text only and put it on the wrong place is not translating.
Perhaps you made a mistake in the utorrent.exe.lang.txt file; send it to me and I'll have a look on it.
In an editor this lines should look like this (from the german utorrent.exe.lang.txt file):

I just pushed an updated version of the µTorrent Translation System.
This adds platform support for mac, and adds some other general improvements (including performance).

1) Strings are now hashed uniquely, so if the identifier for the string changes, this won't throw away your translations
2) Duplicate strings are combined and only need to be translated once in µTS
3) Searching of TRANSLATED text is now possible!
4) Search now only shows strings that matches, not a bunch of random stuff.

Let me know if you have any problems with the new system.

Firon, could you revert the translation system to a previous version? I say it because there are still problems, both for offline and online translation.

I have a Romanian language file downloaded before the translation system was modified and its size is 111 KB. I have downloaded today the file for the latest version which has 114 KB in size. So, at first glance, the things seem to be in order, no more double the size (190 KB), like I said in a previous message. But I have compared the two files with DiffMerge (http://www.sourcegear.com/diffmerge/), and there are a lot of differences between the two files, mainly because the duplicates have not disappeared. I will give some examples below:

These duplicates may be the cause for the errors related to Unicode reported by other users. The duplicates have old translations, and they most surely contain characters with encodings that cause problems in the files submitted to the current translation system.

P.S. The messages from this thread that contain bug reports related to the translation system could be moved to a new thread, named "Technical problems with the translation system" or something similar .

The unicode errors are related to having an UTF-8 BOM at the beginning of the file. Just make sure your editor doesn't add one and the problem is solved.

To test Your translation, simply use 'download langfile' option and put the 'utorrent.exe.lang.txt' file in the same directory that µTorrent is in. Note that if Your executable has different filename, for e.g. utorrent-3.1.2-latest.exe the langfile should have utorrent-3.1.2-latest.exe.lang.txt filename. For this also there has to be no file "utorrent.lng" in the %appdata% folder, otherwise utorrent is using this.

Hmm, I see what happened. The link was still pointing to the old langpacks, not the new one. Had to make some schema changes to support Mac, but I guess that change didn't quite take.

I fixed it, but the cache might take a while to expire.
