3.6 is adding a new feature - support for WebRTC , like https://github.com/webtorrent/webtorrent or https://github.com/arvidn/libtorrent/issues/223 .
Eventually, it'd be a good thing/route to increase the # of peers, plus optionally, be able run directly from a browser.
Naturally, it will just need more time to stabilize..
-
Slow is one thing (also depends on your resources, cpu, hd-ssd), not functional - I don't think so. I think that now it just stops if there are other active downloads...
-
-
Looks like you better revert back to 3.5.5 stable... for now.
-
Check if your default .torrent file location (pref->directories) is set to your actual torrents path.
-
To make certain file types OPEN on your computer, instead of Chrome Downloading... you have to download the file type once, then right after that download, look at the status bar at the bottom of the browser. Click the arrow next to that file (bottom left) and choose "always open files of this type". DONE.
Now the file type will always OPEN using your default associated program for this file type ( I guess - uTorrent...).
To reset this feature, go to Settings / Advance Settings and under the "Download.." section, there's a button to reset 'all' Auto Downloads
Hope this helps.. :-)

There is a newer 3.6 beta update ...

Not sure what you wan to say here. "Not responding" is what I have too, right. So you see it too. But I don't see any problem with the number of connections here like you said.
-
The number of peers/seeds in a swarm for a specific torrent is unlikely to be utorrent problem. How many do you see connected with 3.5.5?
Try a with a good test torrent, like ubuntu.
-
100Mbps is not a good test environment these days... Wifi or no Wifi, using a good or bad swarm/torrent ...
Simply not enough to load the CPU so to expose possible issues.

re: 46574
I tried it and it's still ok for me on W7 with tiny jobs list.
I post to remind people that do the MANUAL update method to BE SURE to copy the 3 dlls too, they were updated for 46574.
Can you get above 15MB/sec DL speed with any good test-torrent, and with a stable GUI?

Files are never being deleted. Search better...
-
With which uTorrent version/build#?
-
It’s time for 3.5.5 now... Sounds like ISP related issue/block, why not contact him?...

build 46568 hung up when downloading a torrent
Same GUI freeze for me. I thing it actually might still be downliad sliwly in the background.

No, it's time to wait for the 3.6 beta mew feature to stabilize, or use the latest 3.5.5 stable...
-
So, comment after you do. Sure you can, with another 12 public torrents...

You are using your 10 year old config. Maybe this is the problem. Win 10 22H fine.
I am using a config that is being used with the latest 3.5.5 stable, and 500 torrents . Maybe 500/12 active torrents are too much for that beta... ;P

pref.->advanced->run-program for example: "d:\program files\utorrent\run-program.cmd - Shortcut" "%D" "%N" "%L"
-
*.bad is usually corrupted. You can try to manually edit them with the bencode editor/utility
-
Nope.. unless you also use utorrent on linux, and try re-use your settings.dat/resume.dat files
-
Completely fails for me (with 500 torrents in the list, 12 active, 6 seeding, 6 downloading).
UI is completely stuck (unresponsive) , low speeds in the backroung (no GUI changes)
