  2. Hi!

I have a problem with my WebUI. It only shows the torrent list:......................................................................................

I does not show the left and bottom panel. This turned my WebUI to almost useless.

Please help me fix it. I've already tried downloading a new WebUI and potting it in the %appdata%\uTorrent, but it didn't help.

    Thanks

See red area on the screenshot!:

  3. @Ultima, thanks for explanation. What's the right way to install new Web UI? Seems simple coping over is not enough...

Rename it to „webui.zip“ and place it in the „%appdata%\uTorrent

  5. Hi, Everyone, I edited the utserver.conf file and set up the ut_webui_port value to 8085. Initially I removed the settings.dat file . When i start the utserver for the first time, i can view the ui using http://localhost:8085/gui

Later if i stop the utserver and start again, the ui is not getting launched at 8085 but rather on 8080(http://localhost:8080/gui)

Please advice how to make my port to be 8085 permanently

    What exactly you have written!?

  6. Ok so I'm running build 24118 on ubuntu 10.04

I've been having issues with utserver crashing.

I'm running 4 instances with the multi-user webui and a version of the following init script.

    http://germany.intisive.com/ut-lango.init.txt

and here is links to a few log files from time of crash with just the first few and and last few log entries intact.

    http://germany.intisive.com/ut-lango.txt

    http://germany.intisive.com/ut-chaz.txt

    http://germany.intisive.com/ut-chaz-1.txt

if anybody has any idea of whats going on or a way to solve this problem please let me know.

Also if someone can give me a link to previous versions of utserver so I can see if the problem keeps occuring with older versions as well. I haven't been able to find where older versions can be downloaded.

Edit: Also I'm having an issue where non root user can't use the init script to start and restart utserver without getting the following error "start-stop-daemon: Unable to set gid to 1004 (Operation not permitted)" which means that they cannot recover from the crash on there own. any idea of how to solve this issue without giving them sudo privlages would be very helpful as well.

    Some discussion by script

  7. The web UI shows "not installed" - not working if I specify the -settingspath option when I run utserver.

It only works if I put the webui.zip in the settingspath folder. If I specify the "webui_dir_files" option in the conf, it does not work for the zip. I have to extract it in a folder to make utserver see it.

This is not true! Probably you have written something incorrect. :o

  8. The Files tab context menu is known to be broken at the moment. Double-clicking indeed should work. I'm not sure what to say if it doesn't, but if you really need the functionality now, the WebUI v0.380 WIP should work on utserver, and its context menu works (though the tradeoff is that I stupidly broke double-click support too in one of the recent builds). If you decide to use it, do keep the Linux Support section of the first post in mind

Actually i using this WebUI with "Firefox" (now even 4 beta) and dont find a bug to this moment. But i remember before going out this version that was accidentally find double-click option until I tried how it works in "Chrome".Now i tryed again in "Chrome" and context menu also works. In general this WebUI it's a perfectly to me.I recommend everyone to download it: WebUI v0.380 WIP

  9. I hope that means it is working for everyone, especially those using Cyrillic character sets, for which the problem seemed most obvious.

    .......................................................................................................................................................

Previous revisions did have a problem with localization. I haven't heard any reports of localization problems with the latest release; no news can be good news. Sounds like you don't see that problem, which is a good sign.

That's right.Works without any problems with localization and Cyrillic characters to me.

Once again: - Thank you for the great job!

  10. Thank you for the unicode support! :D

Have a problem with this release (didn't try any previous) - if file in torrent contains cyrillic letters, the file name (on disk! not in webUI) looks like ??????????????.mkv and so on.

Если в имени файла есть кириллица, то имя файла сохраняется со знаками вопроса вместо букв.

I don't have this problem. You may be have a problem with fonts!
