  1. Why ? I am using it since forever now... Me too. When did this feature become broken?
  2. - Fix: data is invalid errors when using partfile Now that the avove has been fixed, I am now getting this error on random torrents and I am not not skipping any files. Error: the system cannot find the file specified. It seems to be reported in this thread: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=99202
  3. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=587276#p587276 Data is Invalid: This has been reported before. Thanks. I know that it has been reported before because I reported it back in 2.2.1 and I have not had a reply to this until your post. And still occurs in the just released 3.0 RC3. -- 2011-05-23: Version 3.0 RC3 (build 25327) - Change: health bar is green now - Fix: crashes - Fix: µTorrent can hang if checking thousands of torrents After updating to this version my bars are still yellow colored. Is there a setting now or am I missing something?
  4. Still when deleting torrents it permantly deletes and does not go to recycle bin no matter what the setting for gui.delete_to_trash. Still getting "Error: The Data is Invalid" message on skipped file torrents. As I have reported over and over in this thread and in the 2.2.1 release.
  5. I dont know what has happened but, removing torrents are not going to the recycle bin and are permanantly deleted as described above.
  6. The fix did not in fact make it into the 25303 release. It is in the new 25309 build I just put up though. Could you try it? It still happens. I have a suggestion on the progress bar. There should be at least 4 different colors one for each Downloading' date=' Seeding, Finished, and Error. So at a glance we can easily tell what state they are in especially when the status icons are shut off by default. Then maybe add different shades to Queued items. Also, what is up with the orange-piss colored health bars? What happened to - green healthy, yellow modarate, red critical color scheme? At least make them black like a cell phone signal bars.[/quote'] I tested this on various torrents and it is indeed on torrents that files have been skipped. I can reproduce the error 100% of the time. It also happens on those torrents when they are complete and seeding.

  8. I have had this happen also as I have said before 3 or 4 times on this forum. This has been reported by many others and still no reply by any one from utorrent. I can not upgrade from 2.2 until some one figures this out.
  9. I installed 25234 and immediatly the "Error: The Data is Invalid" came up on a torrent that I am only seeding. So, it isnt just torrents that are being downloaded. I do not have the ".1" extension on any of the torrents that have this error. Going to revert back to 2.2 until some one can figure out wtf is going on.
  10. Enjoy your security hole the size of texas. Hmm. Security hole or unstable and unusable. Nice choice of options. Your real helpful DreadWingKnight. How about some one useful from utorrent team help solve this? I dont think it is "power options - Turn off Hard disk after xx minutes" as I have it set to "never" turn off. It is also seems it happens to different torrents from different places and trackers.
  11. I have also gotten this error along with at least 5 others and with version 2.2.1. Seems that this problem is being ignored.
  12. this version and 2.2.1 I am getting the following errors. 1) while downloading I get a "File not found error" and had to update tracker manually to resume. 2) when some torrents are finished downloading the .!ut wouldn't go away until i shut down utorrent completly and did a force recheck. 3) cpu spike and program freeze when I delete the torrent and data from within utorrent. 2.2 build 23774 I do not get the first two errors.
  13. I haven't seen a reply to these issues in the following posts: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=576566#p57656 http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=575904#p575904 Are they being looked into? It keeps happening and I am back to using 2.2 until it gets fixed.
  14. I thought clearing the settings fixed the problems but, it is happening again.
