Build 29782 stuck on auto-update to 29812. Edit: After a few restarts, the update happened. Not properly mind you. I just closed the stuck(and blank) update progress bar, which kinda auto-restarted uT to the new version.

On 29594 I cannot see any info on selected torrents(i.e. as if nothing is selected at all).

A lot of times I add magnets they get stuck on status "Checked". Happens on 29472 and one earlier at least. Restart AND re-add fix it, but it's its too common to be a coincidence.

28993 crashes on me... Probably when in the metadata dl stage.

Me too. More like introduced the bug for me instead of fixed it as it worked in the previous build. Note: I think this is the first beta build I've had a bug with and I'm with uT since 1.7 Heh... mazel tov I suppose.

Download isn't working for me. As in the uT binary is missing from the download link at the start of the thread.

I think I've discovered a memory leak or something. Look here: http://imgur.com/vrhoZ uT was running for something like 20 hours or so. This is basically after I shut down uT and the process ended.

Yea... such a simple feature, yet so long delayed. Usually happens for large projects, they drown in their own bureaucracy, and nobody can get simple shit like this done.

Switching between views(from the apps and offers to the torrents view) doesn't seem to work for me sometimes. More specifically, I was looking at the welcome app, then while still on it, I uninstalled it and now it won't switch views.

coolstarhty, they're asking WHY, not IF. As for what I like in uT 2.... Well let's just say sometimes a lite version can be a feature. A torrent client just for torrents and not for social networking would be nice.

Um... quick question. Since I trust you guys with the labeling and for me an "alpha" build is a wee bit too early to adopt, with the nearing of the 3.2.1 release(being at RC2 already), do you feel this is worthy of being upgraded to beta?

Any timeframe on when you might deem it fit for public beta? I tend to trust you guys with the designations and alphas are a little to early in the dev cycle for me to be comfortable with.

Clicking on the ratings tab sometimes results in an infinite loop somewhere(the UI maybe? Cuz I killed the frozen thread and it still uploaded/downloaded as usual, yet the UI disappeared).

...AND... ...also causes my PC to stutter(as of some of the latest betas). It's a recurring thing. Last time this happened I switched to vuze. We'll see what happens when we hit stable. If it's still there I either remain with 2.2.1 or switch to vuze again.

Apparently this new edition causes my computer to "stutter" from time to time. Most noticeable during video playback, when it freezes for several seconds at a time. Which is why I reverted to the stable for the time being.

Btw, I believe there are still some outstanding upload choke issues. This new version displays a more consistent and somewhat better behaviour, but still fails to utilize full bandwidth. (there is also the possibility of bad observation; more on that issue later, once I'm positive there is one)

Yes... you may however encounter some upload chokes. However I figure we are close to a solution to that problem once they roll out the unchoked build. At least I hope it will be soon. In fact if you encounter the problem and wish to help follow Greg Hazel's steps up in the thread.

Considering the priorities you yourselves set(the whole "lives, breathes and dies based on its ability to upload" bit I read somewhere), I do not believe "upload choker" and "RC" go well together. So yea, issue is still present for me. Hope it's gone by the time of the stable release. Some of the new features are nice, but all fluff and no game won't appeal to a whole lot of people.

Hm... On 2.0.4 I get like 15(out of 40) active torrents and full bandwidth utilization, on 2.2 I get 5 active torrents and minimal bandwidth(<10K each) utilization. So, yea, in the current state it is not working for me.

Well you must have done something right recently... uT seems to have lost its ability to generate sudden random interrupt spikes/BSOD's (considering that nothing but uT has changed versions since last I had the problem).

I have the magic word - BUG REPORT! My torrent jobs are missing from BEncode. Its there in the resume.dat, they work in uT, but BEncode doesn't list them. And I absolutely can't move all those torrents by hand. So considering that a fix is bound to take quite a while, might as well be easier to point me to a description of the file format. P.S. Damnation to all hex editors - I have a few and none of them do regexes. Neither do any of the ones I found so far. Pls fix quick
