  1. alus, Thank you for clear explanation as to why DHT doesn't work under UPnP. Consider myself educated ; I hadn't considered TCP vs UDP. It would be a nice enhancement. I appreciate you taking the time to reply in a kind way.
  2. Using UPnP DHT doesn't work for me. UPnP is working correctly and I get the green icon. Testing the port says it is open. I just get DHT: 0 nodes (Login) DHT: Waiting to login If I then manually open the port in my router, DHT works correctly and the node count increases. If I then then take away the manual opening of the port, the node count drops to zero over a short space of time.
  3. µTorrent 1.70.1552 Beta Great work on the UPnP mapping issues! UPnP maps instantly and (for the first time I've seen) unmaps on exit.
  4. Running Vista with a Linksys WRT54G v3.1 (Thibor 15c firmware), UPnP functionality is broken in 1355 Just the usual "Unable to map UPnP port" I have been sent interim beta builds to test and had versions that worked 100%, so I know it is possible with my configuration - but not with this build. As others have noted, the UPnP port is not unmapped on exit. I haven't seen any build where this has worked. I really appreciate the work going into producing a great build.
  5. Love the Auto Throttling feature! Some observations on UPnP in Vista. It worked almost perfectly in build 1092 (said unable to map, then mapped it within another 20 seconds). UPnP has been broken again in builds 1111,1137 and 1170. Using Microsoft's Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool my router (Linksys WRT54G v3.1 running Thibor 15c) failed the UPnP test, but still worked with build 1092. Issuing "netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled" (no quotes) in an elevated cmd window allowed my router to pass the UPnP test and still worked with build 1092. I think UPnP worked slightly more reliably in this configuration. I have since tested builds 1111,1137 & 1170 and have not been able to get UPnP to work at all. I hope my comments prove useful to your development. Thanks for a great application
