An absolute disgrace. uTorrent used to be a excellent lightweight client with some great features, now its just a bloated and buggy piece of crap which is now going to be bundled with adware. You seriously think that uTorrent is going to survive now? The Admin/Devs are seriously deluded. Pure greed has turned your once loved app into a bloated and buggy cash cow. Bye.

Well maybe if the dev team stopped adding bloat to the once clean and fast ut they would have more time to fix the bugs. I havent been able to use any version of v3, each time I do my overall upload speed drops dramatically.

This version of uT is no longer supported. Well it should be! Every version after it is bloated and buggy as hell.

Hi Ultima, thanks for replying, I wont ask for future versions I just want to get it working in current. All I want to do is remove the child entries.. "Delete Torrent" "Delete Date" From the "Remove And" parent menu but keep the parent menu entry and the remaining child.. "Delete .torrent + Data" I tried the "a.removeand" but that seems to just remove the parent completely. Hope you can help but understand if not. Thanks in advance either way.

Anybody else any ideas. Looks like Ultima is away/busy at the moment.

@ Ultima You previously helped with removing context menu items from webui by editing the webui.js file, Unfortunately I am unable to do it in latest version correctly. I can remove the single ones ok but cant seem to remove the child menu items as I just get errors in main.js. I want to remove just child menu items from the "Remove And" parent menu. The ones I want to remove are "Delete .torrent" and "Delete Data" but need to keep the "Delete .torrent + Data" in the child menu. Help again would be much appreciated.

Sounds pretty pointless to me if you know of big bugs that exist but leave them in RC's. Just fix them and release as 3.1.2, why re-release older version?

@ Ultima Hi bud, if you have time could you take a quick look at this for me... http://www.multiupload.com/R6QWNJCBFT Its the webui.js file from v3.70 of the WebUI. I am trying to remove the "Force Start" and the "Remove" (just the remove, not the remove and..) from the context menu. You previously helped with the latest version of WebUI but I need to use v2.2.1 of uT and the latest WebUI seems to freeze until you refresh if I use latest webui with 2.2.1. Thanks in advance bud.

Because BT devs are more interested in adding bloat crap to uTorrent then fixing issues and improving optimization. Why the hell cant we have a light version that resembles the real utorrent and keep all this other stuff like streaming and stuff to the PLUS version?

I will stay in task manager until it has written out the data that was in ram. When you kill the task you are also killing the data that it hasn't written to hdd yet which is why it re-checks data incase you corrupted or are missing some.

Sorry if this has already been covered, I noticed that you have now split the resume.dat, What woudl happen if we wanted to downgrade utorrent, is there a way to merge the resume.dat file back into one. Also how would we migrate data to new system/drive. does this mean that we now have to manually edit each resume.date with bencode editor. For example I have 1-4k torrents in some of my clients, and have on some occasions needed to move to new drive or system and edit the resume.dat/settings.dat to change references of drive so that stuff would continue to seed.
