  1. No there isnt currently.
  2. As i thought this isnt a bug at all From the FAQ. queue.dont_count_slow_dl/ul makes µTorrent not count torrents going less than 1KiB/s up or down towards your active torrents.
  3. Dragonfire: is this a utorrent bug, or a webui bug? Are the uploads actually active? randombypasser: cant reproduce that bug. Can u?
  4. Yes the FAQ needs to be updated. As for bug, will see if i can reproduce this.
  5. redline001: the homepage banner describes it in layman terms. "It lets you control utorrent from far away" - i.e. you can remotely control utorrent on your home pc from another pc.
  6. matthaeus123: no it wouldn't.
  7. The only changelog people need to be aware of is that it is better and more stable than the previous build Changelog will be released when a new build is advertised on main page.
  8. Infirmus: what is it your trying to do. 1. Do you want to limit the bandwidth the webui uses while loading? In which case, not really necessary. 2. Do you want to change the up/down limits that utorrent uses, via the webui. If so, go to the webui prefs, go to connection and change it there.
  9. Exoskeletor: lol, you dont need to install the webui on the pc your using to connect to utorrent. Only on the pc thats running utorrent. Lets say your pc at home has utorrent and webui on and you want to access it from another pc at a cafe. You just type in the correct url, and utorrent will send the files to the computer your on.
  10. mrxsrd: the file priority is found by right clicking on the rows in the file tab, it isnt controlled by up and down buttons. They will be implemented later. fazzy4: did you not see the remove torrent button on the toolbar in the webui!!!! As for the reset option, why? I'm gonna need a good example for needing that before i put it on my list of things to bug Directrix to do list.
  11. Nero: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=8639 <- this thread holds the solution for your dynamic IP problem. As for being able to connect remotely, you shudnt need to do anything special in your router. If the port is forwarded then you should be fine. I will need to know exactly what problem you are being presented with when connecting externally. It will also help if you can come into the irc chan #utorrent-webui.
  12. mrxrsd: you cant change torrent bandwidth priority yet, you can only change file priority.
  13. TupaC: webui account details cannot be changed via webui. Soon a guest account will be enabled, and that will be the account u shud give to your friends. Exoskeletor: that is pointless. If you want it then go look here http://splintax.com/utorrent.php and bookmark it.
  14. no connection to server, means port isnt forwarded or ur using the wrong port. I suggest you dont bother with the alternative port. Just use the webui on the port utorrent is using. Make sure the utorrent port is forwarded correctly by using the port checker in the speed guide. Then make sure u got a static ip and everything shud be fine.
  15. .mrt: i suppose you dont want to enable mouse gestures in opera then for the left+right click to work? did u try the unfocus/focus trick?
  16. 478 = bug fixes. Webui related changes are: webui prefs are no longer hidden remaining data column is now sending correct data
  17. .mrt: in opera did u try all the stuff that the readme suggests? if yes, then try pressing both the left and right mouse buttons at the same time.
  18. tbdub: Erm, in my experience the only two reasons i can remember causing "invalid request" too appear are: 1. Incorrect URL 2. Webui isnt enabled in utorrent. If you are sure both these things arent the problem, then i suggest you come into the IRC chan so someone can help u.
  19. jeebai: remove and delete.torrent = devs are thinking about it as for the right click menu, do u get the webui right click menu in the torrent list just fine, is it just the file list menu that doesnt work?
  20. mrstick: i do believe that line in the readme only applies to those people running webui thru https. As for the status bar speeds not appearing. Make sure you have javascript settings to allow the status bar text to change. Then turn the show speeds setting off, then turn it back on. The screenies Snapphane posted are the result of there no being CSS applied. Not sure why yet.
  21. marlboro: yes you PROBABLY do need help. 99% of the people who cant get the webui working have just made a mistake somewhere. It does work pretty much straight out of the box if u follow the few simple steps correctly. So upto u, if u want to use the webui, then come get some help. If you dont want to use it, then carry on as you are. medievil: the webui is used to remotely control utorrent from another PC.
  22. osmosis: the details option in context menu is there to bring the general page up when it is hidden. Lack of info in general tab was explained in the readme, i suggest u read it again.
  23. commie: use the beta build that comes with the webui download, dont use the installer version. If you already are, then try turning off Protocol Encryption. If that doesn't work, then go hit ctrl+f5 is firefox a few times or summat. And if all else fails either come in IRC or post in here what the utorrent logger is saying. marlboro: we need more information/would help if you came to IRC. For now all i can say is follow the readme again, but dont use the installer version, use the .exe that came with the webui download this time (if thats what u did).
  24. run portable firefox, see if that cures it
