Just a few points I thought were worth mentioning. First, this is a forum to discuss the new Browser Bar and as such you would assume criticism would be expected, maybe even welcome, to allow it to be any real use at all. Secondly, you would know if you actually read the posts a lot of people are actually planning to uninstall the main program just because they didn't like the Browser Bar. Given that The Bar is only a peripheral component of the main program some of us felt the need to post this in an appropriate forum (you can refer back to my first point if this concept is still troubling you). Finally you could also discover from actually reading the posts that several people have found that the complete removal of the Browser Bar is not achieved by running the uninstaller. This is not something you would expect from a well made and unobtrusive piece of software and consequently some people have felt the necessity to share this fact in an appropriate forum (you can once again refer back to my initial point, we may eventually get there).

You seem a little confused, not only are you posting in an odd thread you also haven't quite got what Firon told you. If a seeder came back the availability would be at least 1 if the availability of the torrent is less than 1 then between you and the people you are connected to there is not a complete file so as things stand you cannot complete the download. You are not being punished, the rest of the file simply isn't available, waiting might change it but there is no guarantee. You should look for torrents with multiple Seeds, an availability between 1 and 2 means there is only 1 Seed and if it often drops below 1 it suggests that seed is unreliable and you might never get the file. Most torrent search sites tell you the health of a torrent (including the one you got your torrents from), look for ones with more Seeds. If you find a torrent that is a large collection and you don't want it all you can always select the parts you want so long as it is in separate files. Also once you have the torrent in utorrent there is a column that tells you how many seeds you are connected to. If the availability is 0 then you might not be connected to the tracker, look at the tracker tab to see if that is the problem. Find a good search site, btsites.tk lists a few and ignore torrents with no seeds and avoid those with only 1 or 2. Hope this helps and you can leave this thread to those of us complaining about the new Browser Bar!

It's nice that you ridicule the suggestion you appear to have made, not an attempt to bring it down but a statement of fact. Since to leave you have to be a user we can assume these people actually like the program, just less so now. My hope in posting was that maybe they'll think twice before adding more crap, although I appreciate this is unlikely. Your 2 posts clearly demonstrate the annoyance this crap can cause, if there is an alternative why bother?

Like many others i have created an account just to say goodbye, in gratitude for trying to install Malware on my computer by the back door. *sigh* Another piece of software gone from the 'essential' to the 'Don't Touch with a Bargepole' category.
