  1. Using 29710, I just got a message saying it was unable to contact the server.
  2. This link downloads 3.3.1.29705 via an auto pop up: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/complete/os/win/track/beta Or manually get 3.3.1.29705 from here by clicking the µTorrent Release Candidate 2 (3.3.1) download button : http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/win
  3. @ CphD You might want to update from 1.8.5. The current version is 1.9.2: http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/#download Just make sure to un-check the 3 Delta toolbar boxes. Horrid little addition - yuk
  4. I knew this was an RC as the install toolbar option is back on the installer
  5. No. I always manually install to Program Files/uTorrent. The only thing in there is uTorrent.exe. Everything else is in Application Data/uTorrent folder. (If it looks a bit bare file wise, it's because I clean almost everything out of it - as long as I have no torrents - before installing new downloaded versions).
  6. I just deleted updates.dat and also removed 29698 from the updates folder. It (uTorrent) just doesn't want to check for new version now  (Incidentally, all the updates options are still checked).
  7. (I have uTorrent installed in Program Files). uTorrrent has decided it doesn't want to check now for new version I'll reboot computer... Edit - I doesn't want to check now for some reason. I'll see what happens next time...
  8. I cant because... I updated uTorrent in SandBoxie first. The I ran the updates folder in SandBoxie to get the installer. I do this because uTorrent doesn't install to Program Files - it didn't occur to me to see where the .exe was replaced. I'll go back a build and see what happens as you asked. Back shortly....
  9. The link on post #1 is, at the time of writing this, currently pointing to the previous beta build, 3.3.1.29692. I was able to get 3.3.1.29698 by letting uTorrent update automatically. (Incidentally, I got no crashes at end of install with the previous build, 29692, on Windows XP SP3).
  10. He told you how he did it. 90 seconds tops to do once Photoshop is launched
  11. It is, yes. But when a new beta is mentioned in this thread, I always use the link in post #1/page 1: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/complete/os/win/track/beta Bookmark the page (one click to get there and the download pop up starts automatically). That always gets you the latest/current beta, especially if http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/ hasn't been updated for some reason.
  12. It was. See post #377 Subscribe to this thread if you're not already.
  13. Well, if there was doubt before (build shown twice), there shouldn't be now
  14. It's now fixed in 3.3.1.29638
  15. That's because he was replying to norti
  16. It is broke (and has already been reported). Go back to 29579 in the meantime (hopefully, you'll find it in your updates folder). Read from post #323 onwards.
  17. No torrent info is shown in the files, info, peers, trackers, etc. tabs!!! Same here (even with just 1 torrent). (Going back to 29579 shows all the info instantly).
  18. Have you checked the updates folder in C:/Documents and Settings/<USERNAME>/Application Data/uTorrent? (That location is for XP. Location may differ slightly for other operating systems).
  19. Like Rafi, no problems here either (using 3.3.1.29525).
  20. It wasn't in the Changelog for this 3.3.1.29472 release (although it was in the Changelog for 3.3.0.29462 Stable). So my guess, as you still have the bug, would be no. If that is the case, then it would contradict post #196. Alternatively, they may have forgot to enter the fix which appears not to have been fixed in the Changelog.
  21. Manually updating caused a crash for me. I just chose restart the client to run it.
  22. I uncheck everything (when the option to do so is available) and nothing extra is installed here (and never has been since I started using uTorrent). So you: 1) Unchecked the free download 2) Unchecked Install the Toolbar (plus the lower 3 boxes) 3) Decline the Free Video Player After doing the above 3 items, what exactly did you get installed?
