  2. Yes. Me. For seeding 24/7. Handy because laptop gets switched off at night.
  3. Talking of unwanted stuff: Not so long ago, back in June, an "Ad-Free" uTorrent apk was "accidentally" delivered as an update to Android users along with its BitTorrent counterpart. An update quickly followed and back came the Ads. Fortunately. I'd backed up the apk's. So I reinstalled them (disabling Play Store auto-update for both in the process). Now I see no ads
  4. No, it's a beta (from the beta links).
  5. That was removed in and the file size for build that was 1.91 MB. So that can't be where the missing 265984 bytes have gone.
  6. Are you referring to Most likely is reading the updates.dat file and detecting 3.6.6 and not taking the build into account also. For me, updates.dat is not (really) necessary for uTorrent to work as it should. It basically just stores every version of uTorrent you've used. Personally, I disabled updates.dat years ago (now an empty 0 kB, Read-only file). Take the plunge - replace the binary and enjoy the latest "slimline" Stable before it balloons again
  7. I don't know but the size is heading in the right direction.
  8. As there is no Stable thread... available: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:95C8617F85BBBB316C4E1F445439391787C17B6B Binary size: 1.65 MB (1,738,936 bytes) / MD5: CABC2DB0BB2DB3A6C6B1855D15722E28 ======================================================================== Changelog: uTorrent 3.5.4 For Windows (build 44846) November 14, 2018 – Removed old trial streaming functionality – Remove old embedded html video player
  9. Make a backup of the folder that contains all the *.dat files etc., so restoring back shouldn't be an issue. The only file that would be changed for default values would be the settings.dat file (and re-blocking the ad value entries shouldn't be too much hassle).
  10. @Ryrynz Does using default settings give you the same problem? How many active torrents? I feel like I'm missing out cos I never have any issues at all ...
  11. @rafi Answer above your post.
  12. That would be BT Inc. then. Anyway, the Beta & stable Links I use are in my signature... well, most of them
  13. They may be English words, but they need to make sense. "BT inc server" - I've never heard of a BT inc server. What does "inc" mean... nothing to me.
  14. In English please... Deciphering it now...

  16. Now look what you've done Should've left it.
  17. True. And some don't know how to just overwrite the previous binary.

  20. Something maybe for the devs to cast their eye over maybe... In the meantime, are you able to see if a much earlier uTorrent version or perhaps another torrent client exhibits same/similar behaviour?
  21. This value?: For comparison, here's with
  22. No problems with here...
