  1. Really, the changelog should be dated for the release itself. 3.5.3.44352 was signed 14 February 2018 00:53:06.
  2. 3.5.3.44352 available: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:0FDDAD42183AAF611CED18E8F153E256FE8CFA20 No changelog at time of posting.
  3. 3.5.2.44342 available: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:82301BCC6513176021F514BA034733814810D70D No changelog at time of posting.
  4. That could be down to the fact that although the ads are hidden from the interface, the program is still "requesting them" from time to time. Find out (via Malwarebytes?) what domain they're being requested from and block them via hosts. If there's any domains not on my Host list, feel free PM me them then I can add them to what I already have on my Host signature link.
  5. That 1 pop-up could maybe be just one missed advanced setting that needs tweaking. Just a guess....
  6. Did you also try disabling utorrentie.exe?
  7. That means it applies to everyone using uTorrent then.
  8. uTorrent do try. Many users have reported rogue ads in the past. The ad gets reported and removed, then another will appear sometime again and the vicious circle continues. With the right settings applied, and utorrentie.exe stopped from running at all, you shouldn't see any in the client itself, and hopefully that will stop Malwarebytes from being triggered.
  9. If "Upgrade" panel is showing for you, that will limit even further how far left the sidebar can go. In the image below, I've revealed it temporarily Sidebar comparison With and without "Upgrade" showing:
  10. It looks bigger than what it is, but I remember when it was large. Jeez was it wide. With 2.2.1, the sidebar here can be reduced to 23 pixels!
  11. With uTorrent Maximised and side pane as far left as possible, minimum width for me is 203 pixels (that's to tip of top right arrow on image above). I don't have the sidebar showing anyway. It was just for the image Laptop resolution 1280x768.
  12. Indeed - the sidebar can only be resized to the left so far.
  13. The resize sensitivity in both planes is around 3 pixels (3 pixels for me anyway). Although I'm sure you've tried moving the cursor around a bit to locate the resize detection points (tips of the arrows: cursor going from right to left, and cursor going from top to bottom).
  14. You can - that's all I ever do. Although with some of the recent releases (via LINK 1~LINK 3 in signature), you had to extract file "Carrier.exe" from the installer and rename it "uTorrent.exe" and then you could replace it. Check this by adding extension .zip or .rar to the uTorrent installer then double clicking on it would open the file in your archiver: That way, you don't go through any install process at all and your settings.dat file doesn't get overwritten. If anyone did run the installer as is, saving a copy of settings.dat then pasting it back into install folder would preserve you previous settings. Also, unless you need it, you need to stop utorrentie.exe from running.
  15. Tweak a few advanced settings and add some host entries, and say bye bye to that. Doing so is nothing new - many have been doing this for years. See my signature...
  16. It's the most recent beta & not old at all - 3.5.1_44321 is from 12 December 2017. I'm surprised to haven't updated to stable 3.5.1_44332 from 19 December 2017.
  17. I've not seen or heard anything more since. Maybe it's been shelved? We'll have to wait for more news or an official announcement.
  18. There was mention of it becoming a "browser" type client: https://www.neowin.net/news/utorrent-is-moving-to-your-web-browser-with-its-next-major-update https://torrentfreak.com/utorrent-will-move-to-the-web-browser-170421/ People will then stick with their current version - I know many, many people still use 2.2.1 or less anyway regardless of 3.5 being available - or move on to another client.
  19. As there is no Stable thread: 3.5.0.44294 (1.89 MB): magnet:?xt=urn:btih:BFF13D6A11B52A0EE966A7E87608CC4E2F3310CE (or 2.71 MB installer via stable links in signature). 3.5.0.44294 Stable Changelog: – Fix a bug that could cause the “You’ve just been upgraded” page to display when the user has not updated – Fix a crash – Save Pro/Ad-free license key to “Documents” upon activation to allow for future re-activation
  20. I was more referring to Virus Total's scanners which you edited out of the quoted sentence. Regardless, if a file is downloaded from a trust worthy company and digitally signed, the most likely result is a false positive.
  21. If the file's Digital Signature is intact, then I'd imagine it's a false positive. It's most likely something to do with installer offers within the file. Virus Total's scanner always seem to find a problem with uTorrent.exe - too much "nanny-ing" these days instead of people using their own common sense.
  22. Beta 3.5.0.44266: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:7A9E735AAAC15DEF36CF05DFF483790BEE046285
