  1. DUDE! This new disk caching is AWESOME! TOTALLY AWESOME!!! While I've had my disagreements with a few of the policies/decisions/choices made, I simply cannot deny the incredible quality of your work! A donation will indeed be coming your way (once I get some extra money in from my new job)! Thanks again!
  2. Have tried the "Speed Guide" feature, but am not really seeing the improvement. My old settings of 8 active torrents / 7 DL (max 30 connections per) got me DL speeds in the range of 150K-250K typically, but with the recommended 3 active /2 DL (max 80 connections per) I'm seeing maybe 60-90K. Granted for two torrents that's reasonable, I suppose, but certainly not more efficient overall. Comments? My (crappy) ISP is Comcast and I appear to have something like 4Mbps/384Kbps. My old settings came about after much testing.
  3. Two features I suggested/requested before the end of '05 are still not posted (and they are NOT duplicates!) - to quote the vernacular: wassup with that?
  4. Not on that torrent (or do you mean on *any* torrent?). After posting that, I switched over to b389 and it seems to be working so far (although crappy Comcast ISP was constantly up & down for much of today so there's not much to go on). That particular torrent has now finished, so I dunno what to say @ this point... Thanks, though!
  5. Been getting "Error: Element not found" on a particular torrent and the torrent halts. There's no further info given, either (I checked the log). In a previous occurrance repeated re-starting over a couple of days finally got it to go through, but this is tedious and I cannot be watching the PC all day for this... Haven't had a chance to test b389 yet, but b386 has this prob and I see no mention of it for b389's fixes. I saw in a thread somewhere that this was a µTorrent bug that was already fixed "in the current beta" (b386 at the time I read it). Thanks, guys. P.S. Compact Allocation is off, but Coalesce Writes is on (if that maters).
