  1. umm...just curious, what did cause the BSOD? i hardly recall any program had crashed so hard on my comp before. but glad that's over now
  2. hey! no BSOD with this one!!! yipeehurray! thanks ludde.
  3. after turning off DHT, the messages skips the dht related ones and goes to: setup paths setup settings bt setting changed set listen port then BSOD.
  4. ok this time went a bit further, new dhtlistensocket dhtlistensocket setup make udp socket then after click OK, bsod.
  5. wow lucky i'm not downloading any big files atm, mostly seeding. i'm sure my tracker must be wondering why this seed keeps logging off and on.. i get to the test right away
  6. ok for me, the last few messages was :- Btlock Getnetwork settings Set networksettings Btget settings Parse IP DHT enable. the bsod happen right after I click OK on DHT enable.
  7. hi ludde, same as markuz both debug and debug2 crashed with bsod on startup. and didnt manage to log anything before crashing either. just the error message stop 0xc0000008e, no other information or references. my mobo is abit is7 and i am using the built-in 3com gigabit network port. could it be sound card card related because once i heard a buzz on the speaker before the bsod? i'm using audigy2.
  8. sorry firon. i had the same startup bsod. same error message except the address differs slightly. "***Stop: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x80501CD0, 0xF3A4455C, 0x00000000)"
  9. [quote name='1c3d0g WOW! Talk about old drivers! Update them to 81.95 WHQL if you can' date=' or the most recent WHQL version available for your particular GPU. Here's what WoW Technical Support has to say about your STOP error (follow the links for even more info): [url']http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww01662p i didnt bother to upgrade because i dont play much games and my card is an old ti400 anyway others have reported the same error with ati card and another guy has latest nvidia driver, so this might not simply be a case of old driver conflict. i'll see if i get a chance to update my drivers and try again. also, to the other poster, that was all the error message said...no other reference to certain files or dll. is there any other way to find out what cause the crash? any debug log in utorrent somewhere?
  10. ok, the exact error message is this: "***Stop: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x80501CD0, 0xF11E955C, 0x00000000)" I'm running XP sp2, stable Nvidia drivers 71.84 and SB Audigy 2 official drivers. Other than this I don't think I have any funny programs running in the background Both utorrent 1.2.2 and 1.2.3b356 didn't crash.
  11. sorry, i just registered for this. i'll crash it again to get the the info for you..
  12. Wow....i just had this beta crash hard on me. BSOD the moment i click to run it. Never happen on other builds before. Revert to 1.22 and worked fine. I tried turning off my firewall (outpost), antivirus (kav), microsoft antispyware, same BSOD. No error message on BSOD also, just "Stopped: and some numbers". Any ideas as to how can I find out the cause of this crash?
