Are you running build 16850? I'm also on W7 x64 and I have no problems with the latest build. Build 16835, however, did crash as soon as it was started.

Sawyer22's videos made me wonder about the net.calc_overhead option. I thought that with net.calc_overhead on, µTorrent would show the actual bandwidth that it's using. So then, why does NetLimiter show lower speeds than µTorrent with net.calc_overhead turned on? Doesn't NetLimiter show all throughput including overhead? ...or am I misunderstanding how this whole overhead thing works. I mean say u have a certain connection e.g. 100/100mbits....is that 100/100mbits + overhead OR 100/100mbits including overhead? If it's the latter, then why doesn't a program like NetLimiter show all the bandwidth that you are actually using including that overhead? Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but this is a relatively new feature that hopefully someone can clarify a little more.

If I could recommend a router to anyone...especially bittorrent users, it would have to be the Linksys WRT54GL. It handles a lot of simultaneous connections without any problems whatsoever. It is the best router I've ever owned and the best router you could buy for under $300 (it only costs ~$60). Just make sure you load it up with custom Tomato firmware and you'll be good to go!

I know this is probably just the usual private tracker paranoia, but thought I'd let you guys know anyway. The same tracker that banned µTorrent beta is now banning the stable as well. Here is what they say: I have no idea what bugs they speak of that could possibly affect user stats. EDIT: Maybe you can solve the issues with the beta as well? LOL!

This really sucks. I just found out that my favorite bittorrent client (µTorrent beta) was banned on one of my favorite private trackers. The only explanation they give is this: Due to some exploits the following clients are banned from [insert Tracker Name Here]: All uTorrent 1.8 BETA versions. This is what the tracker status says: Failure: This client is banned at [insert Tracker Name Here]. Download a new version or another client I talked to an admin at the tracker about it. This is what was said:

After hearing about the possible problems of build 11903, I went back to 11882. Exactly 30 minutes later, I got this in the Logger: Hopefully, nothing else was damaged... P.S. If you have a secret test build somewhere, I would love to test it for you!
