  1. I have no problems with launching in portable mode.
  2. Can someone tell me what's the deal with upload bandwidth limiter? When I set up the cap, actual upload speed is MUCH lower than it could be. Here's a screenshot: The cap was set at 1200 kBps, but the actual speed was capped at ~220 kBps. After the cap was lifted, the speed has settled upon ~450 kBps.
  3. Sorry if it's a known problems, but I've looked a couple of pages back in this thread and didn't see them. After installing today's build (2.2.1.24266) I have problems with Apps and WebUI. Apps doesn't work at all and WebUI doesn't get automatically downloaded (on first request when there's no webui.zip) Every time I click on Apps in sidebar, I have these errors in the log: [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=905 char=3 code=0 message=Object doesn't support this action url=btresource://btapp/packages/jquery.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=17 char=1 code=0 message='jQuery' is undefined url=btresource://btapp/packages/jquery.json.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=53 char=1 code=0 message='$' is undefined url=btresource://btapp/packages/jstorage.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=181 char=3 code=0 message=Object expected url=btresource://btapp/packages/apps-sdk/bt.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=1 char=1 code=0 message=Object expected url=btresource://btapp/packages/apps-sdk/debug.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=9 char=1 code=0 message=Object expected url=btresource://btapp/packages/apps-sdk/xhr.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=6 char=1 code=0 message='jQuery' is undefined url=btresource://btapp/packages/slimbox2.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=13 char=1 code=0 message='jQuery' is undefined url=btresource://btapp/packages/jquery.evently.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=8 char=2 code=0 message='jQuery' is undefined url=btresource://btapp/packages/jquery.mustache.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=1 char=1 code=0 message='jQuery' is undefined url=btresource://btapp/packages/jquery.pathbinder.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=1 char=1 code=0 message='$' is undefined url=btresource://btapp/packages/jquery.evently.util.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=33 char=5 code=0 message=Object expected url=btresource://btapp/packages/apps-sdk/gettext.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=38 char=1 code=0 message=Object expected url=btresource://btapp/lib/utils.js [2011-01-22 20:36:06] Script Error: line=15 char=1 code=0 message=Object expected url=btresource://btapp/lib/index.js Deleting Apps folder and cache files doesn't help. For WebUI there's nothing in there; it just doesn't work: [2011-01-22 20:35:27] HTTP: IP 192.168.0.2: GET /gui/ [2011-01-22 20:35:27] Unable to read webui.zip [2011-01-22 20:35:32] HTTP: IP 192.168.0.2: GET /gui/download_webui [2011-01-22 20:35:32] Unable to read webui.zip [2011-01-22 20:35:32] HTTP: IP 192.168.0.2: GET /gui/downloading_webui [2011-01-22 20:35:32] Unable to read webui.zip [2011-01-22 20:35:33] HTTP: IP 192.168.0.2: GET /gui/downloading_webui [2011-01-22 20:35:33] Unable to read webui.zip [2011-01-22 20:35:35] HTTP: IP 192.168.0.2: GET /gui/downloading_webui [2011-01-22 20:35:35] Unable to read webui.zip [2011-01-22 20:35:35] HTTP: IP 192.168.0.2: GET /gui/index.html?error=1 [2011-01-22 20:35:35] Unable to read webui.zip Help is downloading as expected. uTorrent is placed in special folder where it can write to without admin rights and have local settings if this helps.
  4. I've installed build 2.1.20082 today to look at new web access, but it seems I have some problems with creation of a new account. Every time I enable Web Remote Access, fill in login and password, I get this message: "Couldn't contact the µTorrent web service to register" with these errors in log: [2010-06-16 01:45:45] NOTE: Settings file found in directory of executable; using that. [2010-06-16 01:45:45] *** Starting Diagnostic thread *** [2010-06-16 01:45:45] IPv6 is installed [2010-06-16 01:47:21] Disconnected from WebUI proxy service [2010-06-16 01:47:24] Error contacting WebUI proxy service: HTTP Error 400 [2010-06-16 01:47:24] PARSE key ["message"] string [{"status":"\/status\/error","message":"Unknown username.","code":"\/api\/attach\/no_such_user","response":{}}] [2010-06-16 01:47:24] PARSE key ["code"] string [{"status":"\/status\/error","message":"Unknown username.","code":"\/api\/attach\/no_such_user","response":{}}] [2010-06-16 01:47:24] PARSE key ["url"] string [{"status":"\/status\/error","message":"Unknown username.","code":"\/api\/attach\/no_such_user","response":{}}] I'm using Win7 x64, gogoNET IPv6 Client, a router (with DMZ), and KIS 2010 if it helps.
  5. My uTorrent still hangs sometimes (admittedly, far less frequent than betas, but still). I'm still not sure what causes it, but it seems that accessing uTorrent through WebUI increases the chances.
  6. I cannot connect to my WebUI outside of my LAN. When I try to connect to it from within it, using internal IP, everything works ok, but when I try to connect, say, from work, it just keeps asking for login/password perpetually. This replicates in every browser that I have. Cleaning cache/cookies make no difference. Deleting WebUI.zip doesn't help either. My setup is this: DSL modem configured as router set with DMZ rule to forward all traffic to my PC. All internal IPs are static.
  7. I have a request. Why 'Start μTorrent on system startup' writes itself in HKLM instead of HKCU? It requires administrator's rights and very inconvenient if I use portable version (autostart + 2+ users running at the same time = download mayhem). Also, using UAC, if something goes wrong (2 users running program with the same settings in parallel or just μTorrent crash while download in progress), it won't start normally unless you run it with the admin rights, complaining something about inability to update config files (i.e. resume.dat).
  8. Offtopic, @kurahashi: 1 kB = 8,192 kb, thus 1 kB > 8 kb ;D
  9. Maybe I'm not the first one to ask this, but does the new flag P meaning that there's uTP connection used with the peer? (I only see it for peers that are connected using uTP, like D HEP). If so, then why there's also [uTP] added to the peer's IPs?
  10. Just a little update. After a couple of hours I've got this in About->Show Statistics: #half-open: 2 (1 connecting) So, it isn't true that it never open 'em.

[many more like this] In About->Show Stats dialog is always written: (<-- UPD: this isn't true) #half-open: 0 (0 connecting) It's came with 12024 build. Default settings too (8 half-open connections). Vista x64 SP1, UPnP settings in uTorrent are disabled, router have static port forwarding.
