  1. The word Stable behind any of these builds is a oxymoron. The only Stable build is 2.2.1.
  2. As in 3.0 the UI does not open to the tray as 2.2.1 did. It pops up as am open window then I have to manually close it to the tray. I have reported this behavior in the past with 3.0 and it appears that I am wasting my time doing this. Is it that hard to code it to not open in a window?
  3. They never change anything but the build number. The UI still opens and does not opne to the tray as 2.2.1 does. Have your devs ever thought about another line of work?
  4. This POS should not even be in an Alpha stage. It still opens maximized. This is not freaking rocket science. Release 2.2.1 works and opens perfectly. I change NO settings and I have to deal with more garbage. Let me know when you get 4.0 out, I may try 3.0 then!!
  5. what is this setting of yours ? http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/6774/31476538.png Show Icon and notifications. Same way it was set using 2.2.1
  6. Same problem I have using Windows 7 x64
  7. The setting in 'Preferences->General->Mimimize on system start' refers to starting ut minimized when windows starts, not when the user opens ut by clicking. To manually start minimized, you can try opening from command line with the /MINIMIZED option Very strange logic. Release 2.2 1 works well for me. I do not want uT to start with windows 2.2.1 does not. When I open 2.2.1 it opens to the tray MINIMIZED as it is suppose to. I do not use any command line option to force it to open to the tray only. It just amuses me how you can put out a flawed product and then blame the user. It appears I will be using 2.2 1 for a long time as it does work as programed. To repeat for the slow devs here. When I click on the Icon to start 2.2 1, utorrent does indeed start in the tray, the UI is NOT opened. If you like I can send you another video??/
  8. It appears to work fine. In your "Preferences->UI Settings" make sure you are setting "Minimize to tray" and "Close to tray" to meet your requirements. The "X" button at the top right of the ut window performs "Close" and the button one over' date=' on its left, which looks like a simple bar performs the 'minimize' operation.[/quote'] No it does not work fine. It should open with the UI closed and minminizedc to the tray. This has been an issue with this release since it came out. I filed a bug report on it but it seems no one reads them. If you look at the image below you can see that the settings are correct. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b243/TK-1913/ut.png I guess it will take a video. You call this stable? I call it garbage.
  9. What you say is all well and good but I filed that bug report over three weeks ago, and it still is not fixed and now there is a dev that denies it even exists?? I will wait until this version goes final.
  10. You seem to be missing some key details. I provided a picture what more do you want. When I start version 2.2 1 it goes directly to the tray as it is supposed to. When I start v 3.0 this does NOT happen. The UI opens and it should not with the options I have checked. (see image) See where minimize at system start is checked. This does NOT happen. Does it take a frickin video to understand what closing to the tray means? This is not rocket science, the program is NOT working as designed!~

  12. The UI opens fully and does not close to the tray unless you manually close it. Version 2.2.1 does not have this flaw.
