There's no confusion in those earlier posts, those host mappings are correct (sydskane.nu should map to SE for example). It's just that the .conf doesn't handle anything besides .net/.com so there's no reason add them.

Well that was an easy update .conf updated again.

Not quite sure what the purpose of your post was cyberxs :| Is there a missing ccTLD in the .conf file?

Perhaps, but you're going to have to take that up with the developers Personally I'd rather see an external flags.bmp work with peer.resolve_country=true which would mean you'd only need the .conf file to tell the mapping of the .bmp and not have the list of hostnames.

I'm sure this is posted somewhere in this thread (probably near the beginning), but I don't feel like looking AR AT AU AW BE BG BR CA CH CL CN CO CZ DE DK EE ES FI FR GR HK HR HU ID IE IL IN IS IT JP KR LT LU LV MA MG MX MY NL NO NZ PE PL PT RO RU SA SE SG SI SK TH TN TR TW UA UK US 00 YU ZA A .bmp for the default order: http://www.slapmahfro.net/stuff/utorrent/default/flags.bmp Hope that helps? Yes, those are always the newest version, you might need to force a refresh from your browser though. In general you'll only need to download the .conf file again as the .bmp doesn't change very often. That was a question intended for the people mirroring the files, you don't need to worry about it I'm gonna leave the link as is in the .conf since a direct link doesn't work as mentioned previously. Also updated the .conf again.

I've added those to the .conf file, if you would like to use a different URL (i.e. a more exact path) let me know. First one is US and second is LV (both have flags) using reverse DNS lookup. I don't know why they didn't resolve for you. Useless side note: the file is now 1337 lines long

Updated the .conf For those wanting to mirror any files, tell me where and I'll add it to the .conf Although using the coral cache should work if the server is down for a few hours like last time.

Is back now. I think it was only down for a day, if that. If someone wants to mirror the file or suggest somewhere for me to mirror it that's fine too. Updated the .conf

Updated .conf As for those two flags, even if I did have them they don't have their own ccTLD so it wouldn't do much good. Which should be used for the ccTLD? I think using the old Yugoslavia flag seems like a reasonable compromise (plus it's still listed as the official country in the IANA database at least for .yu and .cs has no sponsors).

If you map the unknown ones to a different image (the 00 mapping) you'll need to use AlphaOmega's .conf since he has US based domains in addition to the ones I have. It'll be very painful to look through if you don't since a chunk of the domains will be mapped to that new image. If you want I can make a .bmp that uses the "? flag" or you can use AlphaOmega's .bmp in addition to his .conf file. In any event, quick update to the .conf

I just created a separate section at the top for domains that have multiple capitalizations. Hopefully that doesn't mess anything up. Updated the .conf while I was at it.

Well that kinda stinks, when I sort for duplicates it dumps the other 2. So I have to do that one manually Hope there aren't any others like that. Updated .conf

Yeah yeah Forums were down for me last few times I tried checking' date=' anyway .conf has been updated again [/quote'] # Last Updated # 2006-04-23 # 19.43 EST (UTC -5) You need to force refresh (usually ctrl+f5) then, you're probably pulling a version from your browser's cache. Updated .conf again. # Last Updated # 2006-04-30 # 19.36 EST (UTC -5)

Along with what B!LL said I make a post anytime I update the .conf (or .bmp, but that doesn't happen often). I'd rather not have to update something else. It's easier for me to keep track of what needs to be added just by looking if there are any new posts after I updated the .conf On that note .conf has been updated

Yes, the .conf and .bmp display based on the TLD, so it won't display a flag for IP addresses. So it needs a .cn domain (or a mapping in the .conf) to display the flag for China. If only peer.resolve_country could work together with a .conf  .conf has been updated again.
